Again, sorry about the state of the site at the moment, my final final uni deadline is 12th of this month so i literally have no time at all. Once that date has passed you can be sure the updates site will follow soon after i have (failed) uni.

I'm really proud of all the great users here, posting some very cool blogs (i read them!) - to celebrate i am planning a site redesign!
I am looking for ideas on this new design, i could really appriciate your opinions on the following things i have been thinking about:
Giving the site more of a 'game' feeling? (EXP points, Character details, Achievements, Set in alternative world?)
Visual apperance? (Make it brighter/modern? More simple? Darker? Any sites you like that i should look at?)
New site name? (The word 'blog' may be putting people off the site, something with the word 'zombie' in it?)
Any other ideas you have for the new site? Let me know!
P.s. This site won't be down during the maintenance
Just wanted to let you guys know, i've made the following updates:
- New blogs now start with a 0 rating (all previous blogs have had 5 subtracted from their ratings to even it out)
- New EXP system in place, you get exp for the following things:
- Rating blogs (good or bad) - so rate blogs every time you read them
- Posting blogs
- Posting comments
- Posting threads or replies to threads
- Having an article accepted
- Having a blog featured
- Rating blogs (good or bad) - so rate blogs every time you read them
- To see the current leaders of EXP click the Users tab and click Best Users (exp is shown in brackets next to username).
- EXP doesn't really mean much else right now but i will add other features in the future which make EXP points more special.
OK, after months of waiting i have finally got around to coding the forums!
They are quite simple at the moment, with 5 boards that should do fine for now. Once there is more traffic i will take suggestions for new boards.
It doesn't have all the features of most forums out there, i am quite keen on the simplistic style - as most of us should be living in this world now, luxuries are hard to come by.
That being said, as time goes on i shall add new little bits to the forums (and the website in whole) to make things more interesting.
For now, i'm happy to hear your ideas or suggestions in the comments below and i hope you are enjoying the website!

Wow! I never expected this site to be picked up quite so fast, seeing all the blogs coming in really gives hope that there are other people out there in the same situation.
I guess the site is spread by word of mouth, but a breakthrough i had today enabled me to alter around 30% of the DNS on the main SatNet server, this means that people who access the internet will be automatically directed to this website (since pretty much all other websites are offline) - hopefully this should allow more people to find the site and share their stories here.
I just wanted to let you guys know i am working on a few new features, and I would be happy to hear any recommendations you have:
Honestly, i am not 100% happy with the current site layout/look - if you think the site looks ok then please let me know, i don't want the look to be too complex because the site is supposed to be relativley simplistic but i may make a few design changes if the layout/colour is too ugly for you guys :P
Also, i am looking for more banner images, they are randomly loaded at the top of the page and they are photos i have taken. If you have any images you think would be suitable for the site, email them to me at admin@resistanceblog.com (they must be 800-150 with no text). Please only submit images taken by yourself, no copyright images or other peoples work. I took the photos you see in the current banners.
